Tiyon Amari Gibson, a 23-year-old African American male from Greensboro, North Carolina, was tragically shot to death on December 3, 2020. The incident occurred around 6:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Summit Avenue, near Mrs. Winner's restaurant. Witnesses reported hearing multiple gunshots and seeing Gibson collapse from his injuries. The Greensboro Police Department quickly responded to the scene and began investigating the case as a homicide.
