Marcus Boyce, a 31-year-old African American male, was found dead on April 9, 2017, at a home in the 400 block of North Centennial Street in High Point, North Carolina. Police were called to the scene after reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they discovered Boyce's body, marking the eighth homicide in High Point that year. The investigation into Boyce's death revealed that he had been shot, and authorities quickly identified a suspect in the case.
