Jauhan Shontay Bethea, a 34-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 12, 2015, in High Point, North Carolina. He was found shot in the front yard of his home at 1109 Burton Avenue. The incident occurred around 2:05 p.m., and police were called to the scene shortly after. Bethea was bleeding from his head and mouth, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries.
