Robert Fay Beck Jr., a 40-year-old man from High Point, NC, was tragically shot and killed on October 7, 2018. The incident occurred at Connor’s Mobile Home Village in Archdale, NC, around 2:45 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found Beck injured and unresponsive in the driveway of Lot 38. Several witnesses identified Christopher Lee Gettys, a 28-year-old man, as the shooter. The altercation between Beck and Gettys escalated into violence, resulting in Beck's death.
