Mardell Wendell Wynn, a 29-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on May 6, 2017, in Henderson, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 10:18 p.m. in the 800 block of Nicholas Street. When officers from the Henderson Police Department arrived at the scene, they found Wynn suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of Vance County EMS, Wynn was pronounced dead at the scene.
