Manuel Rodriguez, a 72-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, passed away on September 23, 2016, in Cleburne, Texas. His death was later determined to be a murder.
Omar Rodriguez, Manuel's 51-year-old son, was arrested and charged with the murder. In 2023, Omar Rodriguez pled guilty to the crime in the 413th District Court. The trial had initially been scheduled to begin earlier, but the guilty plea brought a conclusion to the legal proceedings.
