Lucas Lorenzo Baldwin, a 34-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 4, 2017, in Charlotte, North Carolina. He was shot and killed outside an apartment complex in North Charlotte. The incident occurred around 4:00 pm at the Tanglewood Apartments on Wynbrook Way. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. This marked the 37th homicide in Charlotte for that year, highlighting a troubling increase in violent crimes in the area.
