On a summer evening in Charlotte, North Carolina, the life of 63-year-old Harold Rudolph Jones, a Black/African American male, came to a tragic and abrupt end. On July 3, 2017, police responded to a call in the University City area, initially reported as a possible suicide. Upon arrival, they discovered Jones outside a residence with a fatal gunshot wound.
