Harold Rudolph Jones, a 63-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically died on July 3, 2017, in Charlotte, NC. He was found outside a residence in the University City area with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead on the scene. Initially, the incident was reported as a possible suicide, but further investigation by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department revealed it to be a homicide.
