Denzel Holloway, a 27-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on July 12, 2017, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred near Rockwood Park, in the 2300 block of Whitley Drive. Holloway was found dead in a wooded area at approximately 5:40 p.m. following a shooting. The shooting also left his cousin, Sadontae’ Holloway, a 17-year-old African American male, injured with a gunshot wound to his hip.
