Demario Montez Metts, a 35-year-old African American male from Oxford, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on November 5, 2022. The incident occurred around 5:30 a.m. in the 700 block of North Hyde Park Avenue in Durham, North Carolina. According to reports, Metts was found unresponsive at the scene after being shot.
