On August 31, 2017, 26-year-old Maurice Suggs was fatally shot in the 200 block of Paramount Street in High Point, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 5:15 p.m., and Suggs was one of three victims in a deadly triple shooting. The other two victims, Tremaine Durham and Al’tariq Cole, were injured but survived.

The shooting was part of a scheme to rob marijuana houses in the area. Three suspects were identified and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Suggs' death. ...
