Darelle Marquis Harper, a 31-year-old man from Durham, NC, was tragically shot and killed on January 30, 2018, in the parking lot of the Triangle Village Shopping Center on N.C. Highway 54. Harper was sitting in his car when he was approached and shot in the neck by an unknown assailant. The incident was Durham's first homicide of 2018, and it was determined that the shooting did not appear to be random.
