Marcus Bradley Ortega-Burch, a 20-year-old male from Durham, North Carolina, was fatally shot on the night of September 8, 2022. The incident occurred around 11:55 p.m. in a residential area within the 200 block of Kent Lake Drive. Authorities responded to reports of a disturbance involving a weapon, and upon arrival, they discovered Ortega-Burch had sustained gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
