investigation, Durham Police arrested Ethan John Booker, a 27-year-old man from Durham, in connection with the fatal shooting. Booker turned himself in on May 25, 2017, and was charged with voluntary manslaughter, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharging a firearm within the city limits. Booker was released from the Durham County Jail after posting a $50,000 bond.
The victim's mother, Darlene Andoh, expressed her grief and frustration over the loss of her son and the legal proceedings that followed. She highlighted the impact of Legg's death on his family, particularly his five-year-old son, who would no longer see his father.
