James Edward Legg, a 30-year-old man from Durham, North Carolina, was tragically shot and killed on May 13, 2017. The incident occurred in the 900 block of West Main Street in Durham, near Brightleaf Square. According to reports, the shooting happened around 2:15 a.m., and Legg was found lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound.
