Miguel Antonio Cruz Ramos, a 16-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on November 12, 2021, in Durham, North Carolina. Miguel was a student at the Southern School of Energy and Sustainability. The incident occurred on the 1000 block of Drew Street, where Miguel and another male were found shot in a car. The second person in the car, Miguel's older brother, was also shot and sustained serious injuries, requiring hospitalization. A third individual nearby was also struck by gunfire.
