Deandre Carney, a 19-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on April 7, 2018, in Raleigh, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning on Brintons Cottage Street. According to reports, Carney was one of the intruders attempting to enter a home when the homeowner, acting in self-defense, fired shots.
