Michael Thomas Le, a 25-year-old Asian male, tragically lost his life on April 8, 2018, in Burlington, North Carolina. Le was working as a security guard at the Gone Fishing Sweepstakes when he was fatally shot during a robbery. The incident also left two other victims injured, one an employee and the other a customer, both of whom were taken to the hospital and later released.
