On the morning of March 6, 2025, 23-year-old African American male Donald Damarri Long was found fatally shot in a vehicle parked outside the JR Cigar Outlet on Eric Lane in Burlington, North Carolina. Police responded to a call at 8:54 a.m. and discovered Long deceased at the scene from a gunshot wound.
