Corby Peyton Moses, a 23-year-old male from Robersonville, North Carolina, was tragically killed on June 24, 2018. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning when deputies were dispatched to a shots fired call at 20460 NC Hwy. 903 in the Gold Point area of Martin County. Upon arrival, they found Corby Moses dead in a vehicle that was stuck in a ditch.
Moses had sustained several gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene by Robersonville EMS.

During the investigation, officials discovered another individual, David Adam Hollis, walking down the road near South Creek Middle School.
