On June 27, 2023, at approximately 12:58 a.m., Harnett County Sheriff's deputies responded to a reported assault at a residence on Burslem Road in Cameron, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Joshua Tyler Holland deceased from gunshot wounds, and his 15-year-old half-brother, Quinton Jones, critically injured with a gunshot wound to the head.
Tragically, Quinton Jones succumbed to his injuries after being taken off life support on July 25, 2023.
