On the night of Wednesday, December 10, 2025, law enforcement officers in Greensboro, North Carolina, were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 2400 block of South Holden Road. Upon arriving at the scene around 11:10 p.m., police discovered a 31-year-old male named Travis Thompson suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts attempted by officers and Guilford County EMS personnel, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the location.
