On the morning of August 17, 2024, at approximately 7:00 a.m., Greensboro Police, along with Fire and EMS units, responded to a call regarding an unresponsive individual at 2104 South Benbow Road in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Jawan Aunree Warren-Jackson unresponsive, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
