Tanique Shaquan Allen, a 28-year-old Black male, was reported missing in High Point, North Carolina, on February 19, 2019. His body was discovered on February 20, 2019, in the 1400 block of East Commerce Avenue with a gunshot wound. The High Point Police Department immediately began investigating the case as a homicide. An autopsy was planned to confirm the cause of death, but the gunshot wound was the apparent cause.
