Demetrius Monte Johnson, a 21-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed while driving on U.S. Highway 301 in Dunn, North Carolina, on May 29, 2019. The incident occurred in the afternoon, and Harnett County deputies received a call about the shooting at approximately 3:40 p.m. Upon arriving at the scene, they found Johnson dead in his car at 4367 U.S. 301.
