Jerry Calvin Dale II, a 26-year-old male from Dunn, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 17, 2015. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Butterfly Lane, where Jerry Calvin Dale II was shot during an altercation with his father, Jerry Calvin Dale Sr. The victim was transported to Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival. The Sampson County Sheriff's Office and the State Bureau of Investigation were called to investigate the incident.
