Ondra Martinelli Gladden, Jr., a 24-year-old male of African American ethnicity from Asheboro, North Carolina, tragically died on June 16, 2019. Gladden was found shot multiple times in an abandoned lot on Booker T. Washington Avenue in Asheboro. He was transported to Randolph Hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Randolph County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene and began investigating the incident as a homicide.
