Christian Malik Estes, an 18-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 31, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred at a college party held at the 49 North Student Apartments near the University of North Carolina at Charlotte . During the party, an argument broke out, leading to gunfire that resulted in life-threatening injuries for four individuals, including Christian Malik Estes. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Estes succumbed to his injuries.
