Chante Lavarche Alexander, a 37-year-old African American woman, tragically lost her life on November 28, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Thanksgiving Day, and it was reported that Chante was found suffering from a gunshot wound in an apartment complex located in the 3300 block of Krupa Court in east Charlotte. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead by hospital staff.
