Monika Diamond, a 34-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically killed on March 18, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Diamond was a prominent figure in the Charlotte LGBTQ and nightlife community, co-owning Ncphyne Promotion Company LLC and co-CEOing the International Mother of the Year Pageantry System.
