Brianna Nichole Smith Muhammad, a 21-year-old African American woman, tragically passed away on June 16, 2020, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Born on June 15, 1999, in Newark, New Jersey, Brianna was a graduate of Weaver Academy and later attended North Carolina Central University. She was known for her love of drama and theatre, as well as her passion for hairstyling and manicuring nails.
On the fateful day of June 16, 2020, Brianna was shot to death on Trent Street in Greensboro.
The Greensboro police arrested two suspects in connection with her murder. Aaron Lamont Little, 20, and Stephon Fitzgerald Hardy, 21, both from Winston-Salem, were charged with first-degree murder. Additionally, they faced charges of assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and discharging a firearm into occupied property. Both suspects were held in the Guilford County Jail without bond.
