In the quiet early morning hours in Greensboro, North Carolina, a tragedy unfolded that ended the long life of a 96-year-old woman. On Thursday, June 11, 2026, police were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of Benjamin Parkway around 2 a.m. following a report of an individual threatening suicide.
