Danzelle Boomer, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2020, in New Bern, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 7:13 p.m. when officers responded to reports of gunshots in the Dillahunt Street and Carver Street area. Upon arrival, they found Boomer suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he died while being transported to the hospital.
