Danzelle Boomer, a 31-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2020, in New Bern, North Carolina. The incident occurred around 7:13 p.m. when officers responded to reports of gunshots in the Dillahunt Street and Carver Street area. Upon arrival, they found Boomer suffering from gunshot wounds.
