Katie Eckerd, a 27-year-old woman, was tragically shot to death on July 21, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center on West Sugar Creek Road. According to reports, police were called to the scene following an armed robbery. Upon arrival, they found Katie Eckerd in a parked car, suffering from gunshot wounds. She was immediately transported to a hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
