Jonquil Thompson, a 35-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed on October 3, 2020, in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred shortly before 2:05 a.m. in a parking lot on Conway Avenue. Officers responded to reports of shots fired and upon arrival, they found Jonquil with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
