Michael Dennis Payne, a 50-year-old white male, tragically lost his life on November 15, 2020, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and distressing. On the night of November 15, 2020, Fayetteville police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Morganton Road near S. Ingleside Drive.
