Jatice Wactor, a 19-year-old Black male, tragically lost his life on January 22, 2021, in Woodleaf, North Carolina. The incident occurred after a dispute between Wactor and another teenager, 16-year-old D’andra Scott, also a Black male. The two teenagers met in a driveway on Woodleaf Road with the intention of completing a financial transaction. However, the situation quickly escalated, and the two exchanged gunfire while seated in the backseat of a vehicle.
