Blanca E. Cadavid, a 35-year-old woman from High Point, NC, was found dead inside her home on February 4, 2021. The discovery was made after an hours-long standoff between police and Josue Drumond-Cruz, a 34-year-old man. According to the medical examiner, Blanca had been killed 8-10 hours before her body was found. The standoff began when officers heard gunshots coming from the home on W.
