Anita Hyatt, a 31-year-old woman from High Point, NC, was tragically shot and killed on October 28, 2022. The incident occurred early in the morning at the Super 8 by Wyndham hotel located at 4400 Regency Drive. High Point Police Department received a call about an assault with a deadly weapon around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found Anita Hyatt with gunshot wounds. She was immediately taken to a local hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
