TyQuan Shanquelle Moody, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 13, 2021, in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a home invasion at his residence on Everetts School Road. According to reports, deputies from the Halifax County Sheriff's Office responded to a breaking and entering call at approximately 11:53 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered that there had been forced entry through a side door.
