William Alexander, a 43-year-old man from Charlotte, North Carolina, was tragically killed on April 1, 2021. The incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. near the 900 block of McArthur Avenue, just a few blocks from the intersection of Atandoe Avenue and La Salle Street. When officers from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department arrived at the scene, they found William Alexander with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by MEDIC.
