Elijah Mark Riggan, a 16-year-old male from Charlotte, North Carolina, tragically lost his life on May 21, 2021. Elijah was shot and killed at a gas station on South Tryon Street in Charlotte. When officers arrived at the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m., they found Elijah with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
