Marcus O'Neill Hill, a 32-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 29, 2021, in Forest City, North Carolina. The incident occurred late Saturday night in the Dogwood Lane area, where an exchange of gunfire took place. When the Forest City Police Department responded to the disturbance just before 11 p.m., they discovered Hill injured from a gunshot wound.
