Robert Earl Taylor Jr., a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on August 9, 2021, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Taylor was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 1200-block of Boyer Street, just outside downtown Raleigh. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m., and the police were called to the scene shortly after the shooting.
