Brian Eugene Gibson, a 48-year-old male from Laurinburg, NC, was found dead on September 3, 2020. He was discovered in the driver's seat of his 2007 black Nissan Maxima on Biggs Street, having suffered a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of Scotland County EMS, Gibson was pronounced dead at the scene. The Laurinburg Police Department responded to the incident around 9:45 p.m. after receiving a call about a disturbance.
