Johnny Jermaine Johnson, a 43-year-old African American male, was tragically killed on November 7, 2021, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Johnson, a local nightclub owner and promoter, was found with a gunshot wound near his club, Dior’s Bar and Lounge, located at 141 N. Front St. Despite the efforts of officers who arrived on the scene and provided aid, Johnson succumbed to his injuries. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on Chestnut Street, close to his establishment.
