Zimek Roquis-Houston Berry, a 17-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 20, 2022, in Laurinburg, North Carolina. He was found unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds in the area of Washington Street near Phritz Street. Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene and pronounced him deceased.
