Brian McLean, a 35-year-old male from Laurinburg, NC, tragically lost his life on July 16, 2009. The incident occurred at a Piggly Wiggly store in Laurinburg, where McLean was fatally shot by Aubrey Odum, a 28-year-old male. The altercation began when McLean, who was dating Odum's ex-girlfriend, confronted Odum at the store. During the confrontation, Odum shot McLean three times, including once in the back. McLean was pronounced dead at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
