Franklin Lee Hamby, a 48-year-old man from Roan Mountain, NC, tragically passed away on March 12, 2022. He was born on October 30, 1973, in Elizabethton and worked as a construction worker. Hamby was known for his love of camping and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Alicia Gray, his father, Norman Frank Hamby, his sister, Misty Dawn Ramey, and several other family members.
