Rev. Hironori T. James, a 62-year-old African American man, was tragically shot and killed on March 31, 2022, in Durham, NC. He was found at the scene of the shooting in the 2800 block of Crest Street and was pronounced dead upon arrival. The incident prompted an immediate investigation by the Durham Police Department.
