Otha Ray Watson, a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on September 13, 2020, in Durham, North Carolina. The incident occurred during a car meet-up near a Cookout restaurant on Hillsborough Road. According to reports, Watson was shot in the head while attempting to drive away from the scene after a confrontation. He was taken to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
